Agree to Agree
The process to come to an agreed policy for the school in respect of children’s access to digital media has been under way for some time and parents, children and teachers have been consulted already. This process is necessarily an extended one with great care being taken to ensure that the needs and wishes of all stakeholders are included in any final agreement.

However, in the meantime children are the focus of considerable pressure to engage with digital content and while an agreed policy is not yet in place there is growing general concern over the effects of such engagement. Steiner schools throughout the world have devised guides for families
and teachers and as an advisory to families links to some of these guides and to current research will be made available on the school website.
For example the link to the New York Steiner school is here. Further links will be made available shortly.
